Leadership

	Chief Executive Officer Judy Weaver joined the Acuity Team in October of 2007.  She came to Acuity Specialty Hospital with 12 years of experience in long term acute care management.  Prior to working in long-term care, Judy spent 23 years in various clinical and management roles in Western Pennsylvania Hospitals.  She holds a BSN from California University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Madison University.  Judy has been a registered nurse for 36 years.
	Director of Clinical Services   Chris Heilman joined the Acuity Team in March of 2007 after a 12-year endeavor with Weirton Medical Center.  He brought with him clinical management skills, as well as, critical care and emergency care experiences.  Chris earned his Nursing Diploma from the Ohio Valley Hospital School of Nursing, and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Franciscan University of Steubenville.
	Director of Operations Dusty A. Bowers, BS, RRT-NPS, joined Acuity Specialty Hospital Ohio Valley in July of 2009.  She came to Acuity after a 19 year tenure with UPMC Mercy having experience in critical care and management.  She received her Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy from Jefferson Community College, a Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Therapy from Independence University, and Masters of Health Care Administration with Independence University.
	Director of Provider Relations  Joe Garuccio, facilitated Acuity Specialty Hospital Ohio Valley's opening in 2005 as the startup leader.  Before coming to Acuity, Joe was the Director of Respiratory Therapy and Clinical Liaison for Kindred Hospitals Pittsburgh Market for 10 years.  He is a licensed Respiratory Therapist and Educator.
	Medical Director Ramesh Thimmiah, MD was an advocate in bringing long-term care to the Ohio Valley.  He was a large contributor in the startup of Acuity Specialty Hospital Ohio Valley in 2005 and continues to serve the Hospital as the Medical Director overseeing physician services.  Dr. Thimmiah received his MBBS degree in 1989 from Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences, Bangalore, India, and Occupational Health degree in 1991 from the University of Michigan School of Public Health, Ann Arbor MI.  Dr. Thimmiah completed postgraduate training, Internal Medicine Internship and Residency at St. Francis Medical Center, Pittsburgh, PA, and served as Chief Resident, Internal Medicine.  Dr. Thimmiah is Board Certified with the American Board of Internal Medicine and Certified Wound Care Specialist.  Dr. Thimmiah is a member of the American College of Physicians, Teaching Faculty at WVSOM and is licensed to practice medicine in the states of OH, WV and PA.  Dr. Thimmiah is past President of Kindred Hospital Pittsburgh Medical Staff and is Medical Director of the Allegheny International Program, Pittsburgh, PA.   Dr. Thimmiah currently practices with the Regional Medical Group and is respected by staff as an educator.
	Administrative Assistant/Human Resource Manager Robbie Gibbons has over 30 years of combined skills in human resources and administration. He is a member of Cambridge Who’s Who and Eastern Gateway Community College Practical Nursing Advisory Committee.
	Pharmacy Director John P. Foglia Jr; RPh, DPh Pharmacy operational hours are Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM and Saturday 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM.  Three licensed Pharmacist and two Pharmacy Technicians staff the department.  The pharmacy offers a full line of services including medication protocols and total nutritional services. Medication education is provided to each patient.
	Director of Quality Management   Kimberly Turnbull, Director of Quality Management joined Acuity Specialty Hospital Ohio Valley in August 2005.  Prior to joining Acuity, Kimberly served as the Director of Nursing at Carriage Inn of Steubenville.  In prior positions, Kimberly served as Staff Development Director at Carriage Inn, Assistant Director of the Critical Care Unit, Port St. Lucie Hospital, Staff Nurse-Cardiovascular Recovery Unit at Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center and Staff Nurse-Critical Care Unit at Harrison Community Hospital.  She also held RN positions in doctor’s offices and was an agency nurse in the areas of Medical & Surgical Intensive Care Units, as well as, Progressive Care Units.  Kimberly received her Associates Degree in Nursing from Ohio State University School of Nursing, where she also graduated Magna-Cum-Laude with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing.  Kimberly has been a practicing nurse for 30 years.
	Director of Case Management Tracey L. Cutri, RN, CCM, joined Specialty Hospital Ohio Valley in May 2007 and works as a Case Manager. Tracey has more than 20 years of healthcare experience. After starting her career working in a physician's office, she held nursing positions in the emergency department, critical care unit, hemodialysis, and a nurse recruiter.  In addition, she has worked for a large commercial insurance company. Tracey is licensed as an RN in Ohio, West Virginia and Pennsylvania. A graduate of West Virginia Community College.
	Certified Case Manager Lisa Jarvis, RN, CCM, joined Specialty Hospital-Ohio Valley December 2007 as a Case Manager. Lisa came to us with long term care, commercial insurance, and critical care experience.    Lisa brings to Acuity Specialty Hospital almost 20 years of healthcare experience.  She is a graduate of Belmont Community College.
	Wound Care Specialist  Pam Cox, Wound Care Coordinator, joined Acuity Specialty Hospital Ohio Valley in April 2008.  She has 23 years of combined experience as a clinical nurse and wound care specialist.   Pam received certification in 2002 from the Academy of Wound Management as a Certified Wound Specialist.
	Director of Health Information Management/Coder Michelle Hayden, joined Acuity Specialty Hospital Ohio Valley in March 2008 bringing with her over 20 years of experience in medical management, coding and billing. Before coming to Acuity, Michele served as Medical Staff Coordinator and Director of Health Information Management for Capital Health Services for 13 years. She graduated from West Virginia Northern with a certificate in Surgical Technology and continued her education at Mount Carmel Medical Center to obtain a certificate in Medical Management. Michele previously was certified as a Surgical Technician with over 15 years experience in surgery and currently is certified as a CMM, RMC, CPC and CSHII through the State of Ohio. She currently holds membership with PAHCOM, AST, OSHIIP, ARHCP, AAPC, and AHIMA.
	Business Office Manager/ Credentials Coordinator Jodi Rusinovich, Business Office Manager / Credentials Coordinator was welcomed at Acuity Specialty Hospital Ohio Valley in May 2008.  Jodi  arrived with 30-years of Healthcare initiative within the Tri-State area.  She began her career at WMC in 1980 , Kindred Hospital 1999 and Acuity Specialty Hospital in 2008.  She oversees the daily Business Office duties as well as Medical Staff Credentialing.
